Do I need any special equipment or software to use Gymkee?
No. Gymkee works in any modern web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Your clients use the Gymkee mobile app, available on both iOS and Android. There's nothing to install on your computer.
Can I migrate from another coaching platform?

How much does Gymkee cost?

Gymkee offers 4 plans to fit every stage of your coaching business:

Can I change my plan later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrade or downgrade from your account settings. When you upgrade, you get immediate access to the new features. When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the next billing cycle.
Is there a contract or commitment?
No. All monthly plans are commitment-free. Cancel whenever you want. No contract, no cancellation fees. If you're on an annual plan, you keep access until the end of the billing period.
What happens when I reach my client limit?

You can't add new active clients until you upgrade to a higher plan or archive inactive clients to free up slots. Archived clients can be reactivated later without losing their data.

Do my clients have to pay for Gymkee?
Absolutely not. We don't charge your clients, they don't have access to other coaches, and we don't sell them anything. You're the only one we charge for your Gymkee subscription. In fact, we recommend coaches raise their rates once they use Gymkee because you're now offering a premium service.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Stripe. Payments are processed securely with industry-standard encryption.
Can I get a refund?
Monthly plans: if you cancel within the first 7 days and haven't used the platform extensively, contact support and we'll work something out. Annual plans: prorated refunds are available within the first 30 days.
Do you offer discounts for annual billing?
Yes. Annual billing saves you up to 40% compared to monthly. That's the equivalent of getting several months free each year.
Is there a plan for gyms or teams of coaches?
Yes, the Custom plan is designed for gyms, studios, and coaching teams. It includes unlimited clients, a dedicated account manager, priority support, and custom onboarding. Contact us for a quote.

How do I create a workout in Gymkee?

Open the workout builder, search for exercises from Gymkee's library of 550+ exercises (or your own), and drag-and-drop them into your workout. Set reps, sets, rest times, tempo, and notes. Save it and assign it to a client or a program.

Can I add my own exercises?
Yes! You can film and add your own exercise videos to Gymkee. They'll appear alongside Gymkee's 550+ 4K exercises in your library, ready to drag-and-drop into any program.
How many exercises are in the Gymkee library?
Gymkee includes 550+ professionally filmed exercises in 4K quality, covering every major muscle group and equipment type. The library is regularly updated with new exercises.
What's the maximum duration of a training program?
There is no maximum. You can create programs of any length: 4 weeks, 12 weeks, 6 months, whatever fits your coaching style and your client's goals.
Can I reuse a program for multiple clients?
Yes. Save any program as a template. Then assign it to as many clients as you want, with the option to customize it for each individual before sending.
Can I create supersets, circuits, and drop sets?
Yes. Gymkee supports supersets, trisets, circuits, EMOM, AMRAP, and any custom set structure. Group exercises together and define the rest between rounds.
How does the program status pipeline work?
Programs move through statuses: Draft (you're building it), Active (the client is doing it), Completed (all sessions done), and Archived. You can reactivate or duplicate programs at any stage.
Do clients see the full program schedule or just today's workout?
Clients see their full program calendar with all upcoming sessions. They can also view just today's workout for simplicity. You control the visibility settings per program.
Can I combine fitness and nutrition in the same program?
Yes. Each client can have both a training program and a nutrition plan running simultaneously. They see everything unified in their app.
What exercise details can I configure?
For each exercise: sets, reps (or time), rest period, tempo, RPE, percentage of 1RM, notes, and video. You can also set the exercise type (warm-up, working set, cool-down).

How big is the food database?

Gymkee includes a 5 million+ food database with barcode scanning, sourced from professional databases worldwide. All nutritional values (calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, and micronutrients) are verified. Available on the Pro plan and above.

Can I set different macro goals for each client?
Yes. Each client gets personalized macro targets (calories, protein, carbs, fat). You can set daily targets and adjust them per day of the week if needed.
Can clients swap foods in their meal plan without contacting me?
Yes. Clients can swap individual foods for alternatives with similar macros. You define how much flexibility they have, and the app suggests matching replacements automatically.
How many recipes are available?

Gymkee includes 100+ professionally crafted recipes with full macro breakdowns, step-by-step instructions, and serving sizes. Filter by dietary restriction, meal type, prep time, or ingredients. Available on the Pro plan and above. Browse the recipe library.

Can clients track their food intake?
Yes. Clients can log what they eat directly in the app. You see their food diary in real-time, compare it to their meal plan, and spot compliance issues instantly.
Can I reuse meal plans across clients?
Yes. Save any meal plan as a template and assign it to multiple clients. Customize individual portions or food swaps per client before sending.
Do clients see the recipes in their app?
Yes. When you include a recipe in a meal plan, clients see the full recipe with ingredients, steps, and macros in their app. They can also browse your recipe library.
Can I filter recipes by dietary restriction?
Yes. Filter by vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, keto, paleo, and more. Each recipe includes clear dietary labels.
Are macros calculated automatically?
Yes. Gymkee calculates macros automatically based on the foods and quantities in each meal. Changes to portions update the totals in real-time. No manual math.

What client statuses are available?
Active, Pending (invited but hasn't accepted yet), Paused (temporarily on hold), and Archived (no longer coaching). You can move clients between statuses at any time.
Can I track my clients' body measurements and progress?
Yes. Gymkee supports body composition tracking with photos, weight, measurements (chest, waist, hips, arms, etc.), body fat percentage, and custom metrics. View progress over time with charts.
What types of assessments can I create?
Body composition assessments (measurements, photos), fitness assessments (1RM tests, endurance tests), and custom questionnaire assessments. Schedule them on a recurring basis to track progress over time.
Can my clients fill out their own assessments?

One-time payments (for programs, courses, resources), recurring subscriptions (monthly, weekly, custom intervals), and payment links. You can also create invoices and accept manual payments.
How much does Gymkee Pay cost?
Gymkee Pay charges a small transaction fee per payment (varies by plan). There are no setup fees, no monthly fees for the payment system itself, and no hidden charges. Standard Stripe processing fees apply.
How do I create a payment link?
Go to Gymkee Pay, create a product with a price, then click "Generate Payment Link." Share it via message, email, social media, or embed it on your website. Clients click, pay, and get instant access.
Can clients use promo codes at checkout?
Yes. Create discount codes with percentage or fixed amounts, set validity periods and usage limits. Clients enter the code at checkout and the discount is applied automatically.
How do subscriptions work?
Create a subscription product, set the price and billing interval (weekly, monthly, yearly). When a client subscribes, Gymkee automatically manages their access: active while paying, revoked when they cancel. You see everything in your revenue dashboard.
Can I send invoices to my clients?
Yes. Gymkee generates professional invoices automatically for every payment. You can also create and send manual invoices for services outside of Gymkee Pay.
What happens if a client's payment fails?
Gymkee (via Stripe) automatically retries failed payments. If the payment fails multiple times, the subscription is paused and access is revoked. You're notified at every step so you can follow up with the client.
Can I track my revenue in Gymkee?
Yes. The Gymkee Pay dashboard shows your total revenue, active subscriptions, transaction history, client payment status, and revenue trends over time. Filter by product, date range, or client.
Do I need a website to sell my coaching?
No. Gymkee generates a hosted sales page for each product and a payment link you can share anywhere. No website, no landing page builder, no tech skills needed.
Can I invoice my clients in different currencies?
Yes. Gymkee Pay supports 135+ currencies through Stripe. Set the currency per product to match your clients' location.
Do I need a Stripe account?
Yes. Gymkee Pay is powered by Stripe Connect. When you activate Gymkee Pay, we guide you through creating (or connecting) a Stripe account. It takes about 5 minutes and money goes directly to your bank.

Four types: on-demand programs (structured training plans), on-demand workouts (individual sessions), video courses (educational content), and digital resources (PDFs, guides, templates). Each has its own delivery method.
Do I need a separate website to sell on-demand content?
No. Gymkee hosts a sales page for each product. Share the link on Instagram, in your bio, via email, or anywhere else. No website needed.
How does a client access on-demand content after purchase?
After payment, the client is automatically invited to download the Gymkee app (if they don't have it already). Their purchased content is instantly available in their account.
Can I sell to people who aren't my coaching clients?
Absolutely. On-demand products are designed for selling at scale. Anyone with the payment link can purchase and access the content without being one of your active coaching clients.
Can I offer free content as a lead magnet?
Yes. Set the price to $0 on any product. The client goes through the same checkout flow (without payment), gets access, and you capture their contact info as a lead.
How many on-demand programs can I create?
Unlimited, on all plans. There is no cap on the number of on-demand products you can create or sell.
What's the difference between an on-demand program and a video course?
An on-demand program is a structured training plan (workouts, nutrition, progression) that the client performs in the app. A video course is educational video content organized in modules, think lessons, tutorials, or masterclasses.
What types of files can I sell as digital resources?
PDFs, spreadsheets, images, and any downloadable file. Common examples: nutrition guides, recipe ebooks, training templates, habit trackers, and business toolkits.
Can I bundle multiple products together?
Yes. Create a bundle product that includes multiple programs, courses, or resources at a combined price. Clients get access to everything in the bundle after purchase.
What's the difference between public, private, and unlisted products?
Public products appear on your profile and can be discovered. Private products are only accessible to specific clients you invite. Unlisted products are accessible via direct link but don't appear on your profile.

Can I customize Gymkee with my own brand?

What is the white-label app option?
With white-label, your clients download an app that's 100% your brand, your name, your icon, your App Store listing. They never see "Gymkee." It's as if you built your own coaching app.
Is the white-label app listed in the App Store under my brand?
Yes. The white-label app is published in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store under your brand name and icon. Your clients search for and download YOUR app.
Do my clients still see the Gymkee name with custom branding?
With custom branding (included in Pro and above), clients see your logo but the app is still called "Gymkee." With white-label (Business plan add-on), clients see only your brand, zero Gymkee references.
Can I change my branding later?
Yes. Update your logo, colors, and brand name at any time from your settings. Changes are reflected immediately in the client app.
What file formats are accepted for the logo?
PNG, JPG, and SVG. We recommend a square logo (at least 512x512px) with a transparent background for the best results across all screens.
Does my branding appear in emails and invoices too?
Yes. Your logo and brand name appear on all emails sent to clients and on generated invoices. Everything your client sees is branded to you.
Can I switch from custom branding to white-label?
Yes. You can upgrade from custom branding to white-label at any time. The transition is seamless, your clients receive a notification to download the new branded app.

Yes. The workout player lets clients log their actual sets, reps, and weight as they go. You see their performance data in real-time from your dashboard.
Can clients upload progress photos?
Yes. Clients can upload progress photos as part of their assessments. Photos are stored securely and visible only to you and the client.
How do clients receive their programs?
When you assign a program to a client, they receive a push notification and the program appears instantly in their app. No emails, no downloads, it just shows up.
Can clients give feedback on their workouts?

Are recipe nutritional values accurate?
Yes. All recipes have verified nutritional information based on the USDA and CIQUAL databases. Macros are calculated from the individual ingredients and their quantities.

Yes. Gymkee is fully GDPR compliant. We have a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) available, provide data export tools, and respect the right to erasure. Your data and your clients' data are never sold or shared with third parties.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can export your client data, programs, and account information at any time. Your data is yours, we never hold it hostage.
Where is my data stored?
Gymkee data is stored on secure servers within the European Union, with additional global CDN distribution for performance. All servers meet SOC 2 compliance standards.
Are client progress photos private?
Yes. Progress photos are encrypted and accessible only to the coach and the client. They are never shared, indexed, or used for any other purpose.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you reactivate. After that, it's permanently deleted. You can request immediate deletion at any time by contacting support.
Do you sell user data?
Absolutely not. Gymkee does not sell, share, or monetize your data or your clients' data in any way. Our business model is our subscription, not your data.

The coach dashboard works on all modern browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge (latest 2 versions). We recommend Chrome for the best experience.
Is there an API for Gymkee?
We're working on a public API. If you need specific integrations for your business, contact us and we can discuss options.
Can I embed a Gymkee payment link on my website?
Yes. Copy the payment link and add it as a button or link on your website. When clients click, they're taken to a Gymkee-hosted checkout page. No coding required.
Does Gymkee work on tablets and iPads?
Yes. The coach dashboard is fully responsive and works great on tablets. The client app also supports tablets with an optimized layout.

How do I cancel my Gymkee subscription?
Go to Settings > Subscription > Cancel Plan. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. No cancellation fees, no hoops to jump through.
Can I pause my subscription instead of canceling?
Currently, pausing is not available. You can cancel and reactivate later, your data is preserved for 30 days. If you need a temporary break, contact support and we'll work with you.
How do I update my payment method?
Go to Settings > Billing > Update Payment Method. You can change your credit card at any time. The new card will be used for the next billing cycle.
Can I get an invoice for my Gymkee subscription?
Yes. Gymkee automatically generates an invoice for every subscription payment. Download them from Settings > Billing > Invoice History.
What happens to my clients if I cancel?
Your clients lose access to their programs and the app when your subscription expires. Their data is not deleted immediately, if you reactivate within 30 days, everything is restored.
Can I delete my account permanently?
Yes. Contact support to request permanent account deletion. All your data and your clients' data will be permanently erased in compliance with GDPR.

How do I create a discount code?
Go to Gymkee Pay > Discount Codes > Create. Set the code name, discount amount (percentage or fixed), validity period, and usage limit. Share the code with your clients or audience.
What's the difference between once, forever, and repeating durations?
For subscriptions: "Once" applies the discount to the first payment only. "Forever" applies it to every payment for the life of the subscription. "Repeating" applies it for a set number of months (e.g., 3 months).
Can I create multiple codes for the same promotion?
Yes. Create different codes that point to the same discount. Useful for tracking which channel (Instagram, email, referrals) drives the most conversions.
Where does the client enter their discount code?
At checkout. When a client clicks your payment link, there's a "Promo Code" field on the checkout page. They enter the code and the discount is applied immediately.
How do I know which promotions perform best?
Go to Gymkee Pay > Discount Codes. Each code shows its usage count, total revenue generated, and redemption rate. Compare codes to optimize your marketing.
Can I archive and reuse discount codes?
Yes. Archive codes you're no longer using. Reactivate them later with the same settings or modify them for a new campaign.
